Free, Immediate Health, Dental, Vision and Life Insurance
MedStaff is committed to offering you quality comprehensive benefits
that remain affordable for our traveling employees. The options range
from a Free Base to a low cost Platinum Plan - Group Medical Preferred
Provider Organization (PPO) Coverage or a monthly cash reimbursement.
Also available is a Free Base or a low-cost Platinum Dental and Vision
Plan.
The following is a brief overview of each option. Remember, as a traveling employee you pay no taxes on your contributions for medical coverage, which effectively reduces your benefit expense.
Free, Immediate Group Medical Plan
Our company understands that today’s traveling employees demand choice among their medical insurance plans. That’s why we offer a voluntary health program that allows you to choose between MedStaff’s Base Plan and Platinum Plan - Group Medical PPO coverage.
Base Plan
MedStaff will pick up the entire cost for single Base Plan coverage while you remain eligible for benefits.
Coverage includes:
- Low office visit co-pays for participating physicians.
- National Network of Doctors consisting of over 390,000 doctors nationwide.
- ER visits are 100% covered
- Out of Network Benefits
- Preventative Care Benefits
- Vision discount program
- Moms-to-Babies Maternity Management Program
- Fitness program savings on health club memberships & home exercise equipment

Platinum Plan
This plan requires a nominal monthly contribution for single coverage. Multiple person coverage has additional costs. Speak with your Personal Placement Consultant to identify the costs associated with your specific needs.
Coverage includes:

- Prescription Coverage at lower co-pays than the Base plan

Cash Stipend
If you decline coverage, you will receive a $100 taxable insurance stipend for each month, which will be paid on a monthly basis.

dental program that allows you to choose between a Base and Platinum
plan.
The Base and the Platinum plans provides you with the freedom to
choose a dental plan that best fits your individual needs. Compare
the cost and benefits of each plan, and then determine which will
work best for you and your family.

Free, Immediate Vision Care Program
Your health or dental plan includes a valuable vision plan.
Depending on the vision plan selected, you may have access to coverage
and/or discounts on eye exams, eyeglasses, contact lenses and other
prescription eyewear.

Free, Immediate Workers Compensation / Professional Liability
MedStaff provides worker’s compensation and professional liability insurance (medical malpractice) for all employees currently on assignment.
Work Related Injury
In an emergency situation, seek immediate treatment. It is imperative that you report ALL work related injuries to your Personal Placement Consultant within 24 hours of the incident. Delays in reporting the incident to your Personal Placement Consultant could result in claim processing delays.

MedStaff Educational Development Service (M.E.D.S.) has been established to provide up to the minute continuing education programs to MedStaff healthcare professionals. Through partnerships with nationally recognized educational companies, we bring you over 100 online programs from which to select. Access to these programs is 24 hours a day, seven days a week and is a free benefit to qualified MedStaff professionals. Through M.E.D.S. you can receive unlimited CEUs in order to renew your state license, obtain special programs for regulatory agency compliance and keep abreast of the most recent trends in your profession.

Referral Bonus
MedStaff has implemented an unprecedented referral bonus structure. This is the opportunity for you to reap the rewards of a bonus by simply referring a friend or colleague. Listed below is the amount of money you will receive for referring a healthcare professional who completes a 13-week assignment.
- The 1st referral bonus is: $ 500
- The 2nd referral bonus is: $ 750
- The 3rd referral bonus is: $ 1,000
All referrals after the 3rd will receive $ 1,000. The requirements for receiving these bonuses are:
- You must have an application in with MedStaff
- The referred healthcare professional must complete a 13-week assignment with MedStaff after your referral.

401k Plan 2008
1. Eligibility
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must have completed 260 hours of service during a consecutive 90 day period of employment with Medstaff
- To maintain eligibility an HCP must continue to work 500 hours per calendar year, to be reviewed each January
2. Deferral
- You can contribute up to 100% of your compensation in 1% increments. The plan does not allow for a specific dollar amount to be taken out of each paycheck
- IRS limits all employees to a maximum contribution of $15,500 for 2008
3. Match
- Medstaff will match your contribution at a rate of $0.25 on the
dollar up to the first 5% of pay you save
- The match is effective after 1 year employment and 1000 hours
of service

MedStaff recognizes that issues can occur at any hour, not just during office hours. To ensure you have the proper support, we have a Personal Placement Consultant on call when the offices are closed. To contact the on call consultant you simply dial our main number, (800) 732.9992, and tell the answering service you would like to speak with the travel recruiter on call.

original state license.

Travel Reimbursement
Take your mind off of gas prices and let MedStaff take care of you.
Travel expenses are reimbursed at .44¢ per mile up to a maximum
of $1000 round trip, payable in three installments at the beginning
and end of your assignment.
